CHARITABLE AID (NUMBER OF PERSONS IN RECEIPT OF, AND TOTAL AMOUNT PAID AS).
Beturn to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 8th July, 1902. Ordered, "That there be laid before this House a return showing—(1) The number of persons in receipt of charitable aid throughout the colony during the periods January to December, 1898, and January to December, 1901 ; and (2) the total amount paid as charitable aid to recipients during the same periods."—(Mr. Tanneb.)
