No. 7, 1903. —Petition of Areta te Rito, of Wairoa, Hawke's Bay. Petitioner prays that during the present session legislation may be introduced which will give him the right of rehearing in connection with the Poutaka Block. I am directed to report that the Committee recommends that the Government should bring in such legislation as will give effect to the prayer of the petition. 6th August, 1903.
