Offenders Probation Amendment Bill. The Statutes Revision Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that, as the member in charge of the Bill has expressed his desire to withdraw the same, the Committee recommends that the Bill be allowed to be withdrawn. sth August, 1926.

Special Report. I have the honour to report that the Statutes Revision Committee desires to record its appreciation of the ability and impartiality with which Mr. John Mason has presided over the deliberations of the Committee, and that this resolution be recorded in the minutes of the Committee and be reported to the House. Final Report. I have the honour to report that the Statutes Revision Committee, consisting of ten members, has held five meetings during the session. The average attendance of members at each meeting was five. Three Bills—namely, the Fire Brigades, the Police Offences Amendment, and the Offenders Probation Amendment—were considered by the Committee and reported to the House. Bth September, 1926.
